Imam al-Mujaddid Muhammad bin Abdil-Wahhab | Abu Iyaad Amjad Rafiq
Islam has boundaries and outer limits which are clearly defined in the Qur’an and Prophetic traditions. A Muslim can leave Islam through certain beliefs, statements and deeds which exceed the boundaries, clash with the foundations of Islam, invalidate it, and can never be reconciled with it. In this treatise, Shaykh al-Islam Mubammad bin ‘Abd al-Wahhab (may Allah have mercy on him) mentions ten nullifiers that are agreed upon by the scholars of the Muslims.
They include: associationism (shirk) with Allah, taking intermediaries with Allah for realisation of needs, hating anything brought by the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), mocking anything from the religion, magic (witchcraft) and others. A brief explanation of each of the ten nullifiers is provided following the Arabic and English text.
