The speech regarding the condition of the salf in worship is long and arduous. However, the best predecessor for us whom we take as an example and follow is our Messenger ﷺ. For within his worship lies an example for us and lighthouses of guidance for us to follow and learn. Due to this, i decided to base this lecture upon general mention of the narrations that have come from the Messenger ﷺ regrading the affairs of worship as well as that which his companions were upon as it relates to the affairs of worship which he ﷺ has imparted upon them.
