Dedication to My Fellow New Muslims
Allāh says,
“Is he whose breast Allāh has opened to Islām, so that he is in light from His Lord (as a non-Muslim)? So, woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allāh! They are in plain error!” [Sūrah az-Zumar 39:22]
Abū Umāmah (رضي اللَّهُ عنه) reported that the Messenger of Allāh (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, “I was sent with the upright and easy pure religion.” It is recorded in the Musnad of Ahmad in his Musnad collection and is graded as sound by al-Albānī (رحمه الله) in his book as-Ṣaḥīḥah.
ʿAmr bin al-ʿĀṣ (رضي اللَّهُ عنه) reported that the Messenger of Allāh (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, “Umar, accept Islām, for it blots out all the sins committed before embracing it in the same way Hijrah blots out the sins committed before it.” It is recorded by Ahmad in his Musnad collection and is graded as sound by al-Albānī (رحمه الله) in his book al-Jāmiʿ.
