Shaykh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) Said: “For Often, A Principle, If Its Maker Knew What It Leads To, He Wouldn’t Have Said It.”
Shaykh Al-Albani (may Allah have mercy on him) Said: “Any Knowledge-Based Principle, When It Is A True Knowledge-Based Principle, Then It Is Established Upon Legislative Proofs, Not Solely Ideology Or Desires.”
Shaykh Al-Uthaymin (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “…And Those Who Went Astray From Some Of The People Did Not Go Astray Except Due To Their Distance From The General Principles In The Legislation, And Those Which The Subsidiary Matters return to.”
